The Spreadsheet Rescue (Hard): which AI should you use?
Office work: de-duplicate a 300-row CRM export, page by page, without losing a payment, a real customer or a row on legal hold.
The same six everyday jobs at real-world volume (a week of invoices, a 300-row sheet, a three-city trip…), where one slip fails the job. All Hard jobs · Normal version

For tasks like this
Example task card (variant 1). Traps, named in advance: remove a row that looks like a duplicate but is a different customer or a separate order; delete a row that has a payment attached instead of merging it; delete, merge or merge into a row on legal hold.
Our CRM export of customer orders (296 rows) came from the web shop, the phone team and the marketplace, and some orders were imported more than once. Clean it up so every real customer order appears exactly once. The sheet is long and only opens 50 rows a page; payments, legal holds and earlier reviews are in each row's history. The finance team left notes that define what counts as a duplicate and how duplicates must be resolved: read them first and follow them exactly.
Lab and model names identify what was tested. The Forge Arena is not affiliated with any lab. Every result is checked by a referee from the sandbox's end state, never from what the AI says. Rules · Dataset
